Eco-friendly construction materials - Using rammed earth bricks.

The cottages and tents of My Village resort are made of eco-friendly materials like rammed earth bricks, which are made from a soil mixture(clay, sand & gravel). Using rammed earth bricks for construction enables a sustainable environmental footprint. This brick is environment-friendly as it doesn't require the use of any synthetic materials, and there are no sustainability risks in the long term.

Interiors of the rooms-

The rooms' windows, doors, pillars, and other interior elements were from old sites. It was entrusted for demolition but was renewed and blessed with a new lease of life at the resort. The components mentioned above enhance the beauty of the room. The cots in certain rooms were also made up of rammed earth bricks for a sound and healthy sleep.

Furniture of the resort- Upcycled wood

The resort uses some upcycled stone mortars, used as wash basins, used furniture with improvisations add value to the environment. The furniture gives us the feeling of looking at crafting, which will take us back to the root of traditions.

Helping local craftsmen and tribal art

On the note of assuring the livelihood of the tribal crafters, we have sourced some interiors from them. The murals and certain items at the resort are indigenous to various parts of our rich culture and proudly mark our ingenuity in creating all these items.

Harmless heater using bio-mass boiler

Hot water for bathing in certain rooms is heated by biomass boilers using dead wood, dried cow dung, and tree branches without affecting the green density of the place and also not increasing the carbon footprint. This is one of the ancient methods to heat the water by avoiding electricity.
